”My hands are the catalyst to everything I hold dear in my world. In the game I love, they are my link to the tools of my trade. My hands represent my connection to the game of golf. The same hands that held a driver or putter in championship play, are the same hands that held my wife Barbara’s hand as we walked down the aisle more than fifty years ago, and held for the first time each of my five children and twenty-two grandchildren. These are the same hands that have developed relationships and closed business deals yet hopefully have remained always open to charity. They are my conduit to life.”
