Andy Drysdale

Founder

For as long as he can remember, Andy has been a passionate sports fan with a dream of one day getting involved. After a few decades in the advertising and marketing industry as a conceptual and creative director, particularly in sports, he was able to realise that ambition.

Andy’s creative background and his pursuit of unique artistic processes during that time, led him to develop the distinctive method that underpins the rousing arts, produced by sporting legends, under his creative guidance today.

He is inspired by great stories and his process of merging the person and the moment creates a unique visualisation of iconic moments.

He feels privileged to have collaborated with some of sports’ most legendary figures in visualising moments from their illustrious careers. It was while working with Doddie Weir -Scottish rugby legend, MND sufferer and champion for the fight against this disease- that he met Kenny.

They shared a common passion for sports and, from this fortuitous meeting, Icons Art was founded.

Kenny Logan

Founder

Former international rugby player, Kenny Logan, is best known for playing on the wing for London Wasps and Scotland. Winning his first international rugby cap at the age of 19, Kenny enjoyed an impressive career playing 70 times on the wing for Scotland. Other rugby accolades include winning the Five Nations Championship in 1999, 3 English Premiership league titles, the Scottish Championships with Stirling County RFC and the European Heineken Cup in 2004 with London Wasps.

Kenny faced extraordinary challenges in his personal life, struggling with severe dyslexia until his wife, sports journalist and TV presenter, Gabby Logan, uncovered it and helped him learn how to read and write at the age of 30. Overcoming adversity and in order to manage his transition from professional sport to the business world, Kenny founded his own sports marketing agency, Logan Sports Marketing, whilst nearing the end of his rugby career. The agency to this day, still represents some of the biggest brands in sport.

Focusing his passion for sport and desire to help others through adversity, Kenny has also worked with several charities and foundations in Sporting Ambassador and commercial development roles, to raise money and build awareness for their worthy causes. In addition to Sparks, The Prince’s Trust and Clean-up Britain Campaign, Kenny is particularly involved with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.  Kenny and his team have raised significant funds for the foundation through major corporate partnerships, events and Doddie’s very own tartan merchandise range.

After meeting Andy through the creation of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation art collection, Kenny could see the potential benefits for so many more charities and foundations across the globe. Together with Andy, they now bring you the unique concept of Icons Art.

Paul Sefton

Founder

Paul has worked with Kenny and the Logan Sports Marketing team over the past 18 years. During his time Paul has led LSM through a huge transition and his journey has seen significant growth for LSM. He has done this by achieving outstanding results for international clients such as Microsoft, TAG Heuer, EY, ECM Dell and the British & Irish Lions across global sponsorships planning, activation & corporate hospitality programmes.

Day to day as Managing Director he is focussed on the continued growth of the agency, heads up the development of the team and manages the operational running of the company. In his words I have been lucky enough to experience some of the biggest sporting events and work with some amazing people and brands in the live event sector.

A personal recent highlight at the Japan Rugby World Cup, LSM worked for sponsor EY taking a global lead on all sponsorship & event management. Based in Tokyo, he led the EY Tokyo office and global brand team through its sponsorship planning & activation, crisis management, global client engagement and talent sourcing & management. A highly rewarding personal & business experience.

Paul met Andy through the creation of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation art collection. LSM are responsible for driving income to help fund Doddie’s dream of finding a cure for MND and to practically help fellow sufferers with support they need, like Kenny Paul could see the potential benefits Icons Art can bring to many more charities and foundations across the globe.
